Staying safe online

Children live a digital age and are very good at navigating the internet. Many of our resources shared during the school closure are online based. Please continue to think about your child' online safety while accessing these resources.

  • Use the internet alongside your child, if you can.
  • Limit the time children access electronic devices.
  • Keep tablets and other devices out of your child's bedroom at night .
  • Check parental settings to ensure children are accessing age-appropriate content.
  • Report concerns about content shared by the school, immediately.

 Online safety during coronavirus outbreak

We have updated our Child Protection Policy with the following statement:

During this time, we are aware that our children will be spending more time using computers to access educational resources via our school website. We will ensure that Online safety information is provided on our website to support children at home. In school our usual Online safety procedures apply. We have ensured that the use of online learning tools and systems are in line with privacy and data protections/GDPR requirements. Parents are regularly updated via our school’s website with regard to learning at home and online support.
