At Bonner, we closely follow the guidance of the local health protection team and Public Healthy England. On occasion they may advise that a year group bubble needs to self-isolate at home as a precautionary measure.  In these cases we will provide classes with  remote learning that is aligned as closely as possible with the content of learning that would be covered during in-school provision. We use content from the Hamilton Trust and White Rose to support this learning.

Children in Year 1 and Year 2 will be able to access remote learning at home through the online platform, Seesaw.

Children in Years 3-6 will be able to access remote learning through the online platform: Google Classroom.

Seesaw

Years 1 and 2 will be introduced to Seesaw in their computing sessions at school.

Seesaw is a user-friendly online platform where your teachers can set you tasks to do at home. You can record, write, draw, take photos or videos to complete your work. Your teachers will be able to check and reply to your tasks too.

All you need to log in to your classroom is your text code. If you're not sure of your code, please email homelearning@bonner.towerhamlets.sch.uk with your name and class and we'll respond as quickly as possible.

Google Classroom

Years 3 - 6 will be introduced to Google Classroom in their computing sessions at school.

Google Classroom is like an online classroom where your teachers can easily set you tasks. You will be able to write any questions about your learning and a teacher will be available to help you.

All you need is your username and password (the one you use to log into a computer at school) followed by @apps.bonner.towerhamlets.sch.uk. If you're not sure of your login details email homelearning@bonner.towerhamlets.sch.uk with your name and class and we'll respond as quickly as possible.

Remote Learning Expectations

There will be a member of staff on the online platforms between 9am and 3pm to support learning and answer any questions if a bubble is required to work remotely.

Pupils should log in between 9am and 10am to register their attendance and access the day's learning.
